If you have never had a professional facial, the not-knowing is usually the thing that stops people booking. So here is exactly what happens.
Before you come in
Arrive with clean skin if you can, or do not worry about it, we cleanse first anyway. Do bring, or photograph, the products you use at home. Half of what I will tell you at the end is about those.
If you are a new client, book the Introductory Facial. It is built for first visits and includes a skin analysis and an education plan, which the Signature Facial does not spend time on.
In the room
We start with a look at your skin under proper light and a short conversation about what you want to change. Then the facial itself: a cleanse, exfoliation matched to your skin type, extractions where your skin needs them and not where it does not, and a treatment mask chosen for what your skin is doing that day.
You will be on the bed for about an hour. Most people fall asleep. That is allowed.
Afterwards
Your skin will feel clean and look brighter. Give it the rest of the day without makeup if you can. SPF is the one thing that always goes on.
Before you leave I will tell you what to use at home, and often what to stop using. Then we talk about what to book next, or you take the plan home and think about it. There is no pressure either way.
How often
Every four to six weeks for maintenance. If we are correcting something, acne, pigment, texture, I will suggest a tighter schedule for a while, and the membership exists to make that easy.
