Good to know

Questions

How long should the hair be?

About a quarter of an inch, roughly two to three weeks of growth. Too short and the wax cannot grip it.

Does it hurt?

Hard wax is the gentlest option, and it gets easier with each visit as the hair comes back finer. The first time is always the most noticeable.

Can I wax if I use retinol or have had a peel?

Tell Nella before you book. Retinoids, recent peels and some medications make the skin too fragile to wax safely, and she will tell you how long to wait.

How often should I come back?

Every four to six weeks for most areas. Brows can go a little longer if the shape is holding.
